ICE RUN ON PIBURGER LAKE
Tyrol's most picturesque skating rink is located in the Ötztal above Sautens. Fir forests line steep banks, between whose sides the ice surface spans freely and lightly. You turn your rounds on a 2 km long and 8 meters wide natural ice rink, the mighty Acherkogel in view. Also open to winter hikers and, we promise, a feast for the mind.
ICE RUN ON THE RESCHENSEE
Welcome to the largest skating rink in Val Venosta. 6 kilometers long and 1 kilometer wide is the Reschensee, with its sunken village at the turning point of North and South Tyrol. When it is cold enough, a thick layer of ice forms on its surface. More like enough space for pirouettes, ice hockey, snowkiting and ice skating. Speed skaters take on a regularly prepared speed skating track sporty ride on.

If the natural ice skating rinks around the sunny slope are not passable due to weather conditions, Imst sports center offers a reliable alternative. The artificial ice rink Imst is open from November to the beginning of March.
